Honestly, till now I thought most of the other Indie developers from India were like me. Barely a dozen of them hiding in the darkest corners of the interwebs and quietly making games just for fun. Ludum Dare 21 ended sometime ago, I submitted a game for it. It was the first LD for me, feels really good that I managed to whip out something in those 48 hours.

The end result is vastly different from what I had planned originally, probably because I had to rush to make it through the deadlines but still working under the pressure of deadlines seems to really productive for me.
Well, I’ve started working on a new game. Yeah, I know I already have another project in WIP and a half a dozen more that were just abandoned. Hopefully I can complete this one, then maybe I’ll go back to the previous projects. Wanted to try something minimal. Here are a few screenshots -

The ship looks distorted because of the Sampling is set to Point. The game looks fine while playing. Right now, just the first level is complete, spent more time setting up things properly, maybe the next levels will be easier to make.
